A curated bike tour followed by dinner in a Copenhagen home — a chance to experience a side of the city most visitors never see. Ride & Dine brings together two sides of Copenhagen: the city itself, and the people who have lived in it for decades.
Begin with a 2-hour private bike tour led by a local guide who knows the city far beyond any guidebook. The route can be shaped around your interests — architecture, neighbourhood life, Danish culture, or the stories behind the city’s most iconic places.
After the ride, the experience continues inside a real Danish home.
Here you join a Silvers Dinner. You’ll be welcomed into the home of a local Silver — a senior host with over 60 years of life experience. Over a homemade meal, they share stories from their life, their experiences, and the city they have called home for decades.
Guests are carefully matched with a Silver host. You might meet Elisabeth, who has lived in Christiania for more than 50 years; Henrik, a Danish artist; Mikael, a composer; or Mette, a writer and global citizen. Each dinner reflects the person hosting it.
Ride & Dine offers a rare opportunity to experience Copenhagen both out in the city and inside a local home.
How it works
1. Enquire online
Choose your preferred day and group size and tell us a little about what you’d like to see or experience. We carefully curate the experience by matching you with both a local guide and a Silver host whose stories and perspective fit your interests.
2. Join the bike tour
A private 2-hour e-bike ride with a local and experienced guide introducing Copenhagen’s neighbourhoods, culture, and everyday life. Tours depart at your chosen time.
3. Sit down for dinner
After the ride, you head to your Silver host’s home for an intimate dinner and conversation. Dinners typically take place from 18:00–20:30.
